Photography & Photo Restoration

I got into photography early, with my first camera at 11 years old, and a manual 35mm film camera when I turned 18.  My father and grandfather were both photographers - my dad was a serious hobbyist with an enlarger and a darkroom, and my grandfather was a professional photographer for Glenn L. Martin Aircraft during WW2.  Both are gone now, but they kindled within me a lifelong love affair with photography.  Let me put my experience to work for you.

How?

If you're like me, you have albums and old boxes of pictures stashed everywhere, and some of them are older still, along with negatives and slides inherited from family.  Some of the photos are showing their age, with rips, tears and discoloration.  The slides?  You simply wish there was a good way to digitize them, so they could be viewed and shared.  Or maybe you're like one of my friends:  She had a lovely picture, from a perfect day with family no longer with her - but the picture's not perfect anymore, because it has her ex standing in the shot...and even on good terms, she doesn't want him framed and on display in her living room!
